Entrance to Long Beach Cruise Terminal
The Long Beach Cruise Terminal, known as the "Dome", is located right beside the Queen Mary — Cunard's grand ship that has been permanently docked and turned into a hotel. There are also dining options, tours, and events held on the Queen Mary. When coming off the highway, follow the signs for the Queen Mary and General Parking — it branches off with a sign to the cruise terminal once you reach the main gate.
🎉 Carnival Cruises from Long Beach
Carnival sails a few ships out of the Long Beach Terminal to destinations in Mexico, Hawaii, and Alaska. The Carnival Firenze, Legend, Panorama, and Radiance are all homeported in Long Beach.
✅ Long Beach Cruise Terminal Tips
✅ Smooth embarkation
Long Beach Cruise Terminal is owned and operated by Carnival Cruise Lines and is a smaller port, so getting from shore to ship is a fairly smooth and quick process.
♿ Accessibility
The Long Beach cruise terminal does not provide wheelchairs. If mobility is an issue, seating is available while waiting to board. It is advised to contact Carnival in advance to arrange a wheelchair at the port.
🌤️ Long Beach / Los Angeles Weather
Especially great for beach visits — the water is spectacularly warm. Peak smog season, so keep that in mind.
Warm weather all year makes any time a great time to visit the Long Beach area.
Can be a bit nippy due to the Santa Ana winds — bring a light jacket for evenings.
