Norfolk's official park-and-ride option is the Cedar Grove lot on Monticello Avenue, about 1.5 miles from the terminal, with a complimentary shuttle included — but reported opening times and first-shuttle times vary between the city's own sources, with one page citing a 9:45 a.m. lot opening and 10:15 a.m. first shuttle, and another citing 10 a.m. and 11:15 a.m., so check the current schedule before you plan your morning around it. Several downtown and airport-area hotels also sell their own park-and-cruise packages — one downtown property offers a night's stay plus up to a week of parking, and an airport-area Delta hotel's package includes round-trip shuttle service directly to the terminal entrance.
