San Juan cruise port. and 10 minutes from the Pan American terminal. The largest carriers in San Juan are JetBlue and American Eagle, but there are also daily flights with American Airlines, United, US Airway and Delta, in addition to some international airlines.

There are two types of taxis in San Juan: Touristic cabs, which charge by zone and number of bags, or regular cabs which are metered. Tipping drivers 10%-15% is customary and there may be added fuel charges of $1.50 added to the final bill. The cost from the airport to the ships is $21 plus $1/bag. At the airport, the taxi kiosk is located just outside the airport. Speak to the attendant and they will determine the cost of travel and write it down for the driver. The cost to go from the airport to the San Juan cruise port is $19, plus a dollar a bag for luggage. The cost to go to the Pan American pier is approximately $15. Some cabs take credit cards, but not all. You could also be changed a premium for going to the airport and for larger parties. -
