Getting from Seattle to Vancouver - Driving
Seattle to Vancouver is 142 miles (230 kms) so by car it can take about 2 hours and 40 minutes provided the drive is smooth and there aren't any delays at the border. Renting a car and crossing the border and thereby dropping it off in another country can be a hassle and not all car companies allow for taking a rental from the U.S. to Canada, or vice versa.

Getting from Seattle to Vancouver - Amtrak
Amtrak offers service between Seattle King Street Station, and Vancouver Pacific Central Station. The trip takes approximately 3.5 hours.
King Street Station in Seattle is closer to downtown and approximately 13 miles from SeaTac, and Pacific Central Station is about 1.5 miles from Canada Place, so you'd need public transportation or taxi in both Seattle and Vancouver.

Public Transportation in Vancouver
Canada Place cruise terminal is located beside the Waterfront Station on Vancouver's public transport system
Translink, including the Skytrain, buses, the West Coast commuter train, and the SeaBus, which goes to North Vancouver.
The Skytrain's Canada Line, which connects the airport and downtown Vancouver, where Canada Place is located, takes less than 30 minutes by train and it departs every 4-6 minutes from the airport. It can be a a time and money-saving way to get from your airport hotel to the cruise port.
